EvoPrimer for STM8L Ultra-Low Power Line of Microcontrollers
Raisonance Primers are tool solutions designed specifically to help users explore microcontroller features and then rapidly move on to develop their own applications on a finely finished and portable demonstrator. Raisonance's new Primers, like EvoPrimer for STM8L for STMicroelectronics, are based on the versatile, easy-to-use, portable Open4 platform. This platform ensures compatibility and easy portability of applications from earlier STM32 Primers (1 & 2) while adding enhanced durability and the flexibility to work with multiple target MCUs.
The EvoPrimer for the STM8L Ultra-Low Power line is a fun, cost-effective evaluation and development package based on Raisonance's Open4 base platform and an STM8L152C6 Target Board.
The base platform provides features that are fun and pertinent, such as a color LCD touchscreen, audio circuit and GUI. The Target Board with STM8L operates evaluation features when connected to the base, and is also a standalone temperature sensor application. When disconnected from the base, the Target Board can run on its own battery and can be recharged by the provided solar cells.

The same Primer Target Boards, extension boards, software tools and sample applications are used with both EvoPrimer and other Open4 derived products.
